Benefit Cosmetics was founded in 1976 by two identical twin sisters. Their store had a more playful enviroment than other cosmetic companies. That playfulness shows up in each of their products. They have a full line of makeup including, eye and eyebrow makeup, mascara, lip color, correctors and foundations. They also manufacture skin care products such as, cleansers, moisturizers, sun screens, and perfume (who says perfume isn't skin care?). If you're looking for high quality makeup that's also fun and stylish, look no further.
They offer a wide variety of lip sticks. Specific ones include their silky finish look and full-finish lip stick. Each variety of lipstick comes in anywhere from 3 three to 22 different shades.
Benefit has higher prices than Loreal, Maybelline, Revlon, and Rimmel. But, most people have found the lipstick that Benefit Cosmetics makes to be higher quality. Their price range is around seven dollars to eighteen dollars for lipstick.
Great lipstick
Benefit Silky Finish Lipstick - I love the Benefit lipsticks, and this one is no exception especially after it went on sale! I have YSL too but the Benefit lipstick line is comparable in quality and waaay cheaper. It is creamy and easy to apply, and there's an almost glitter-y after-sheen that looks great on the lips once the lipstick wears off. It is worth the money! I wish I can buy the other 2 sale items but only the Bouquet dive is available at this time.
Excellent Lipstick
Benefit Cosmetics Full-finish Lipstick - I was given this lipstick as a free gift with purchase at Sephora. I thought "Just another lipstick." I was wrong. I didn't have any lipstick on at the time, and when I applied this one....the color was "Lady's Choice," I couldn't believe it. It went on very smoothly and immediately my lips looked fuller!! Even my fiancee asked if I had collagen injections!! I love this lipstick and am going to buy a couple of more colors.
Your lips will love this!
Benefit Cosmetics Full-Finish Lipstick - I have been on a long search for a lip color
that is long lasting and also moisturizing. I love lipglosses, but most are fairly sheer,
and even those with more pigment don't last very long unless they are crazy sticky (yuck).
On the other hand, most lipsticks created for all-day wear are heavily pigmented and do stick
around, but also seem dry to me, and leave my lips feeling a bit parched. What's a girl to do?
Enter Benefit's Full-Finish. I wandered into Sephora last week and asked one of the SA's if she knew of any lip products
that would last and also moisturize, and she brought me right over to the Benefit section. I already had one of the silky-finish
lipsticks and loved the slick feeling of it, so I was willing to give this a try. I have worn "No Competition" to work every
day this week and I am thrilled with the results. It is a pink color with chocolate undertones, and it matches my coloring well (blond/blue/fair).
The color lasts most of the day and my lips feel smooth and hydrated at 3 pm, which is a small miracle in our winter-dry air. It has little to no
taste and is reasonably priced for the amount you get. Best part to me, though, is the combination of nice color and luscious-feeling lips.
A winner, and I will definitely purchase more colors. Thanks, Benefit!
